Battery problems
Have a 68 F250 Ranger camper special. Had to jump it several times. Shop said battery bad; got new one. After a few days have same problem with new battery. Starter has been spinning excessively, would this be the problem?

Battery problems
i had the same problem. After replacing what was a less then a year old battery my starter finally went up and finally died. when i took it off I could see that the starter had been bad for quite some time. Always had a problem starting, it cranked so slow. With the new one on i now start like a dream and have no more problems with the battery going dead.
