Looking for a first truck
It is optioned pretty nice though, but it is 2 wheel drive.
A 2 wheel drive King Ranch.
That seems, uncommon.

Just to add something different here, and I'm thinking I may get slammed by the rest of the forum, but I would rather you be informed before hopping into one of these.
I have a 2006 5.4L XLT 4x4 and while it has always started (albeit loudly) for me and has no problems off road, this engine has some pretty massive design faults.
1. I believe it's common for these engines to have problems with spark plugs getting stuck and costing a small fortune to get fixed.
2. The oil filter is mounted at an angle at the bottom of the engine, in addition to this they have left hardly any room to get a strap wrench in there and on my 4x4, thanks to the skid plate, there's only a small opening I can use to get to it. My oil changes get done at the shop.
3. The timing tensioners (or perhaps the entire timing system) will go bad usually (from what I've read) in the mid to high 100,000's. Ford, and the talent-less engineers that designed this engine on their lunch break, don't recommend fixing this. Mechanics will shy away from the engine and will not warranty the work done on it because of this. I've been told "it never goes back as good as it was from the factory" from a handful of shops. I finally found a friend of a friend to give me some more detail and he said the national auto mechanics group that he's a part of strongly recommends avoiding timing work on this engine to save your shop from more headache than it's worth.
I'm still searching for a mechanic to fix this that will stand by his work. At this point I'm strongly considering just getting a new engine or selling the truck.
With all that being said, I do like the truck, and like I said before it does start every day and isn't terrible on gas for a V8. There's just a loud alarming metallic clattering sound for 1-3 seconds while oil pressure is built up to tension up the timing chain every time I cold start it. If you're in the market for a bulletproof engine that will last for many years and many miles, this may not be what you're looking for.
Best of luck on your search!
Pass on 5.4 motors... unless you enjoy problems and headaches.
Pass on 4x4s that use that stupid vacuum actuator system for 2WD/4WD. (I understand this one is 4x2 - as a King Ranch? Really? - but for future reference)
Don't follow these three simple guidelines and you'll be wishing you did in the future.
I'm 60 Y.O. and have had Fords all of my life, in fact own 6 (87-95) Mustangs and an 81 Ford F-150 (302 & C-6 Automatic) but "I will NEVER buy another Newer Ford, EVER!
If I can ever unload this POS, I'm buying a Chevy!
Good Luck, your going to need it if you did buy it.
Go to U-Tube and do some research.
