Output shaft seal won't stay

Okay. Update. I got the new extension housing installed today. Ordered a yoke but they gave me the wrong end of the driveshaft so I returned it and tried the factory yoke back out. The fit was like a glove and there was no leaking from the tail shaft. It did however leak some from where the gearbox connects to the extension housing. I did not install a gasket in between the two. It's bare metal their metal on metal it doesn't seem to be leaking now. I am still not driving the truck much yet will try it out after this weekend. I took it for test drive and it was rid of the vibrations. Replaced the U joint that was seized and could not get the last clip in. I double checked everything, I was installing with a ball joint press. Other than that truck is not dripping fluid on the ground nor is the level in the trans changing from full. So I may skip the gasket but I do need to figure out clipping the last clip into the driveshaft . I'll take advice. We'll go from there

Do not drive it with the clip missing in the Ujoint the results when that cap comes out will be catastrophic. I had to fix one that had a clip come out it basically ruin the transmission. If the clip won't go in then you have a needle out place setting in the bottom of the cap. Quit trying short cut this get the gasket and put it in between the housing and the case. And get all the clips in.

I've been trying to locate a gasket, with no luck. I am out of state for a funeral and would like to order it to be at home when I return. I don't have my VIN with me either. Could anyone possibly lead me too a reputable place to purchase one. It's a 4r44e 2wd. I will be finalizing the truck when I return. Thank you all for your help.
