64 f700 engine info
I don't know when it was running last, amd there arent any fluids in it currently. Looks pretty clean though, and some of the parts, like spark plugs, look semi new.
Do the exhaust manifolds have a center dump like so?

As for oil, straight 30 will work, as you will probably want to change it soon after you get it running. 15w-40 diesel oil (Rotella) would be good depending on condition. It will probably smoke on start and deceleration due to the valve seals falling apart.
Coolant, I would just use water with a little anti freeze to start, see if it's going to be a runner before you go with the 50/50 or whatever mix you need for your area. Old style green stuff.
Battery: Biggest 12v that will fit that has the terminals oriented correctly for your wiring, with the positive terminal towards the inside of the engine compartment. (to be as far away from collision damage as possible)
Replace everything that is leaking. Especially fuel lines. Rubber fuel lines are dandy for a quick fix, but they are also dandy for a nice big fire.
FE or FT, it's very difficult to determine what it is without taking it apart and checking bore and stroke. You can check stroke with a wire down a plug hole. (see the FAQs at the top of the FE/FT forum)
FE engines look similar to FT's, but were not installed in these trucks and use a completely different engine mounting system.
The FT may have been swapped in, based on the intake manifold that has a 1965 casting number on it.
1964 F500/700 could have a 292 Y block (dizzy behind carb), or a 330 2V M/D; 330 2V H/D; 361 2V or 391 4V FT engine (dizzy in front of carb).
Last year for the 292 was 1964 that was also the first year for the FT's.
1965/76 FE engines have the smog valve at the rear of the right valve cover, oil cap at the front of the left valve cover.
1962/76 FE's came with Auto-Lite (1962/74) or Motorcraft (1975/76) 2V carbs.
1958/64 FE engines have rounded valve covers without holes for oil cap/smog valve (introduced in 1961). Have an oil fill tube on the right front.
1961/64 FE engines: The smog valve threads into the front of the intake manifold.
4th digit of the VIN is the engine code, post what it is.
330HD, 361 or 391.
For the record, the C5 on the intake just means it was originally engineered (molds created?) in 1965 - it can be used for years until the next revision comes out.
The fuel pump looks wet with either gas (fuel line leaking?) or oil but the valve cover doesn't look like it's leaking. Could be the timing cover gasket, but I'd see where that dampness is coming from before you try to start it - if it's just a gasket leak somewhere, leave it, but if it's the pump breather holes leaking gas, you might need a fuel pump.
Does it turn over?
Thanks for the help, I used it Saturday to get it turning over
I think the fuel pump/filter are bad and/or maybe the fuel sending unit. But I am happy with the progress so far.

I just got a 64 f700. Where in the world do you find parts for these trucks.. my brakes don’t work “hard pedal” and my pinion seal is leaking. Also how do I check the rear diff fluid level?
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Your brake parts, except for drums, can be found at NAPA for some stuff and other sellers as well. You need to know what size brakes you have. Shoes can be relined if you can't find them. DRUMS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. other than getting lucky at a scrap yard, barn find or finding forgotten NOS somewhere.
Pinion seal is probably available, but you need to know your axle make and model. Isn't there a fill plug on the back of your housing? That's where you check it.
