I fixed it!!!!

Some of you may recall I was having terrible spark knock in my 93 F-150 w/302. New plugs, wires, dstrib cap, rotor, all kinds of fuel additives, even 93 octane didn't help. Was driving myself nuts trying to accurately intepret the diagnostic tests. Got to thinking that maybe I should try letting the computer reset. Been about 3 years since I've had the battery disconnected. So, removed the neg cable, had breakfast, reconnected it and low and behold that did it!! That one action eliminated 90% of the knock...a little is to be expected I suppose. And it may just be me since I'm no longer afraid to floor it, but it seems to be running stronger. I didn't do anything significant prior to the onset of the spark knock, so I don't know why I needed to reset the computer....sure did plenty trying to cure it though. But anyway, take it for what it's worth...it cured my ping ails. Now on to "shifts too quick."
