That's what I have and it's one sharp color combo.

I thought Caribou was balanced out and couldn't be ordered anymore? Maybe I'm not remembering right.

Really?
How would I find this out?
The dealer said I could order this combo or the mono tone white platinum.

This was the thread I was remembering.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ent-color.html

Not sure if it can be ordered as an accent any longer but as a solid color, it was balanced out a month or so ago according to the above thread.

Well this is something. Maybe it doesn't apply to the King Ranch because the secondary color is standard?
I will find out soon as this is the combo I want. I really didn't consider any other colour.

Good thing you're not waiting for 2018 then. It's done for 18 as the KR accent color AFAIK.

Ford is offering about 14k in employee pricing discounts and 1k off for Costco.
I wish we had U.S prices for warranty also. The esp is over double your price in Canada.
Anyway, thanks for all the replies. I am going to order this later today.
I'm thinking white platinum/Caribou.
I hope you enjoy your F450 KR as much as I do. Options to consider that I enjoy every day or consider very important:
- Adaptive Cruise / collision avoidance
- LED lights
- Active motion (massaging) seats
- Deployable running boards (especially important for my wife)
- Adaptive steering
- Fifth wheel prep
- Supplemental heat

Other options that I like:
- 360* camera (esp the bed camera for hitching)

Options important to my kids:
- Massive sun roof (they love being able to look up and see the sky / stars)

I'm getting all that except for the running boards. I'm on the fence about these as the fixed position boards keep the rocks off the rockers on extended gravel road driving. And I drive a lot a gravel in the fall.
We get the heater as standard equipment along with block heaters.
I told my sons that this is my exotic car. And I'll get whatever I see fit. Maybe they are old enough to see I'm spending their inheritance.

I wonder if they will offer the white gold as the secondary colour? This would look nice on a white platinum truck.

From what I remember, KR secondary will now be a warmer gray which makes no sense to me?

That makes little sense to me as well. I would have thought a western themed package would stick with earth tones.

I considered the powered running boards to be more a novelty than anything else. Maybe they extend down a hair more, who knows. What's nice about fixed boards is you can just hop up on them anytime...don't have to open the door or hit a switch. So if you stand on them to reach the roof when washing...nice. And nothing ever goes wrong with them. But if you like the novelty...go for it.

My favorites are the LED lighting and the moonroof. Rear passengers like the heated rear seats, too.

That's exactly why I skipped the power boards Tyler. I went for the extended fixed instead...

The power running boards have several key advantages to consider:
1. They reach down farther and reach out farther. Much easier to enter the truck, especially for my wife and kids.
2. They reach out well past the doors - I deploy them as my "ding guards" when parking in a tight spot. My F450 is very maneuverable, so I have no problem squeezing into tight spots and no fear of dings!
3. They stay pretty clean and dry, even when it has snowed. Less chance of slipping.
4. They give more ground clearance
5. Truck looks great with them. (subjective of course)

P.s. My kids also like the rear heated seats. They also prefer the softer seat belts with the rear inflatable belts.

In all fairness the fixed running boards seem to be a catchall for any thing tossed up from the road... snow...salt...mudd..gravel I went with the retractable running boards and gatorbacks this time.
