Bumpside Crew Rear Door Inner Trim Piece

Well, popped out to a friend's acreage to see his latest project, which he had only just got home with an hour before

It's a '68 F250 2WD Crew, SWB Styleside.

Anyways, on the inside of the rear doors, around the door handle there is a plastic trim peice (square, or maybe rectangular?, should have taken a pic!), the passenger side rear door has it, but on the drivers side rear door, it's missing.
I doubt anyone is repopping these, so I'm wondering if Ford made this specifically for the Crews, or "appropriated" them from another vehicle (as they've been known to do The one vehicle that would be a likely candidate would be a similar vintage van, but I'm speculating here

Any ways, if you have one, or know where to get one, please let me know so I can pass the info on to Garry.

Thanks!
James

Ford never cataloged the Crew specific parts. They custom built every one per order. So I can't tell, are they the same as the front door?

Jeff: Nope, bears no resemblance to the pic you posted, and they're only on the rear doors.

I'll have to get a pic next time I pop out there, but I don't have photobucket, or any other hosting site, so I guess I could always put it in my gallery?

Oh, and Gary called me, and he tells me he was digging in his hard copy of the MPC (from a closed dealer), and he figures it might just be the same as one used in the same year Econoline Van, which is funny, as I adn't shared my theory that it might be a part Fomoco appropriated from another application yet

James: Since there's no part number for the Crew Cab rear door cup, if the ID number is posted off the passenger side rear door cup, it might be able to be crossed over to the Ford part number.
