2008 Expedition EL refrfesh

Hi all-
I've enjoyed reading the threads here and would like suggestions on a 2008 Expedition EL 4x4 Limited with 144,000 miles. It has been a great truck for us but it is time for brakes, shocks and anything else that will help tighten up the ride.
I am also considering using the truck for some horse trailer towing. I have the towing package with 7 pin connection.
What do you all recommend for brake rotors and pads? Are there big gains to be made with any of the aftermarket stuff for calipers and/or stainless brake lines? How about better brake fluid?
I'm leaning toward replacing the original equipment shocks with https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...440071&jsn=442 Are any suspension kits worth it?
I know I am asking a lot and appreciate any guidance you offer.
Best,
Stephan

Many people, including myself, run powerstop rotors and pads.
https://www.powerstop.com/

You can usually find deals on the typical auto parts sites for them.

It could probably also use suspension bushings while youre at it.

Shocks/ springs/ struts - Oem or the like are inexpensive and the best option unless you want to lift it.

easy items to consider:
brake fluid flush
coolant flush
clean maf and throttle body (easy DIY)
air filter
fue filter
add techron to fuel fill-ups twice a month to clean up the fuel injectors. You can switch to once/ month after a few months.

May want to consider a transmission flush/ service. There are typically 2 schools of thought on this.

1) If it has never had a trans service, you may want to leave it be. Changing it at high mileage could disturb the sediments and do more harm than good.

2) If it has been serviced from time to time, definitely go for it.
