Factory Hitch

Has anyone tried to put a factory gooseneck from say a 2014 into an older 7.3 super duty I read somewhere a guy was doing it but now I can't find it anywhere

Why bother? There are other gooseneck kits like B&W, Curt and Reese that will work.

Yes there is butt with the newer Ford ones to convert from gooseneck to Fith wheel is real easy

Install a B&W turnover goose ball, then you can use either a gooseneck, B&W Companion or Andersen Ultimate Hitch.
