I cant see the differance between the K&N intake and the AFE, other than the intake tub onthe AFE is steel.
Is the filter on the Tymar re usable and if not how much $ are they. I'm using a K&N factory replacement filter and the only thing I find wrong is how the box seals on the filter, not how the K&N filters air.
The K&N doesn't filter air as efficiently as a paper filter. That's how they increase air flow, by decreasing restriction, which means lower filtration. The Tymar does not use a reusable filter, but you can get replacements for about $19-20.
