The Frog Follies are this weekend, Aug 25, 26, 27. Over 4000 pre-1949 streetrods. Large swap meet. I will post whatever Ford truck pictures I can get. These will be 'dark side' trucks as they must be modified to enter.

Awesome truck zippi. Appropriate color for the Frog Follies. Just read about 1/2 your 'hunt' thread. My wife and I are looking for something similar. I keep trying to shrink my 53 down but I don't think I can shrink it far enough. BTW I'm from Rockport.

Look me up on Saturday. Can't miss the green 'Slimer". My wife and I drive our 37 to Peppers Ridge Winery occasionally in Rockport. BTW, our 37 is going up for sale on Saturday at the Frog Follies. I'm getting really close to retirement so the wife would like something that is a little more suited for traveling. I myself prefer the Ole School Hot Rod.
Better hang on to that hot rod for a few years and enjoy it. I was just thinking I would like to have something I could enter in the show. Don't know yet if I want to build it or buy it mostly done.

We are changing not selling out. I couldn't image being without a street rod in the garage to tinker with. Thinking of a 40 or 41 pickup that is automatic (the wife wants to be able to drive it) and a little better on the gas mileage and she want AC now so it needs to be more of a cruiser. Boy...that differently doesn't sound like a Hot Rod to me I've also been looking at the 48 and 49 pickups. I told the wife that we can see all those at the Frog Follies so we can narrow it down on our search. I told her that none of this will be happening soon. I reminded her just how long it took to find the 37 pickup we have now. The search is a long stressful process.
