Hello I have a 1987 F-250 4x4 351w C-6 .The ext colors are light blue with a gray or silver 2 tone. I'm looking for the paint code. I looked on the door jamb nothing there. Will it be in the Vin. 1FTHF26H2HPB05376
Thx David
The vin is no help unless you call ford and they can give it to you. Try checking the door jam area on the front of the door for your sticker. They made several blues for your truck and one is called light blue but who knows if it is your color. You could search pictures of that color and quess. Just type this in Google and check it out. "pictures of 1987 ford f250 painted in fords light blue color".
Look on the tag on the driver's door panel?. Not panel but can't think of what it's called. My exterior paint color code is EG. See below. When you search/Google for this paint code, you may also see an alternate paint code. Mine is 4 characters.

In the event your decal is missing from inside your door, you can always drive down to your local automotive paint supplier and have them take a camera reading of the color on your truck. Then they can mix you some paint to match.
Just an option to consider.
