I am going to say no, since it is not straight and does not brake up any color
I take absolutely no offence in your opinion. I am curious about it not being straight. I followed the grove in the valance and thought it looked straight. Where is it crooked and I will fix it?
I was looking at the picture on my phone. It looked like it was on the bumper above the license plate not on the lower valance. Now that I see it on a pigger screen....I'm still not a fan.

Nice elegant touch.Perhaps not the manliest description lol but it's what it is.
It not appearing straight,is an optical illusion. You only need to follow the bottom of the valance, rather than the bottom of the bumper to have your eyes stop deceiving you.
The valance is probably attached at several screw points along the bottom of the bumper. That makes it look less 'curved' as it bends, giving it the illusion of the curve being made up of several straight lines. The spots where it's attached are what is bending the valance to form that curve, but you can still see the sharp angles where the attaching points are.
It looks like you followed the valance top-to-bottom perfectly, but in that picture, it looks more "zig-zaggy" as it runs along a not-perfectly-curved surface. If it were perfectly curved from the factory, your pinstripe would look perfect. It does look perfect, but the picture makes it look bad. Try one straight on, of the front of the truck.
Sorry if that isn't the best description, but it's the best I can do!
On the straight on picture anything that looks wavy is a shadow or light. Eyeball it is straight. The grove in valance made it very easy follow and to keep the tape straight. Any thing that might not look straight on the front angle picture also is shadow. It is right on the grove.
