What did you do to your Superduty today? 2017 version

Not sure when yours was built, but the Amazon link above to the Ford OEM Harness Plug twin pack will NOT fit my frame plugs. Have a Job 1 Platinum and the frame plugs are different. Those speaker plugs aren't plugging in to anything under the truck without serious modification.
Any ideas about the correct OEM plugs? I'd like a plug and play solution. If not, I've been soldering electronics long enough to make something work. Just wanted a modular connection if I wanted to make changes in the future.

man I am envious you have the frame plugs- I have a 9/17 lariat and I don't see them and I would love to add accent lights to go with the puddle lights.

You need to pull out that water-tight temporary cap from the factory harness. The one with the two little "dots" on it. Pull straight out, hard (may need to push the release tab down too - can't recall if it had one). Then the Metra harness will push right in. Again, need to push hard. I have a job #2 truck. Worked fine, but that temp plug had me fooled for a few minutes until I figured out it was a dummy.

Huskys look nice. Can you comment on Husky vs Weathertech fit and quality? I’ve always had Weathertech but feel their quality is slipping and material is not very pliable. I see a lot are ordering Husky. Thanks

I was a Weathertech fan until I ordered a set of Husky Liners for the wife's car. The Husky had better coverage than WT. Since then its been Husky all the way for me. The Husky used a thicker more pliable rubber and IMO is a slight step up in quality. I've never had a fitment issue with either brand. Since they both are lazer fit and cut, they both fit like a glove. If I had to find something to pick on, I noticed that the Husky front mats seem to be thicker (and more pliable) than the rear mat on both my XL and Tundra.
