302 Vacuum
Hey guys,
On my 85, I was able to get the thing to pass emissions by throwing a 4bbl Holley off an F-150 on it. It says on there MFD for Motorcraft by Holley. My problem is, where do all the vacuum leads on it go, because I'm having a lot of vacuum problems. There are two coming out of the front base, and tehn the two on the bowls.
Is the PCV valve necessary, or can i Block it off?
I've had a lot of hard shifting, with my automatic. Basically the vacuum isnt building up. Could the fact that I took off the smog pump relate to this? I did plug off its line though.
Are the vacuum lines coming out of the intake manifold really necessary, or can i take them out and plug the holes. Which ones are necessary.
Note, I will be buying a 4bbl intake hopefully tomorrow, so I wont have this crappy 2bbl intake on a 4bbl carb.
