Hi folks, I had a 1999 F-250 super duty with a 5.4L, I used it mostly for hauling our camper and cattle trailer, I'm now looking at a 2008 or 2009 F-250 also with 5.4 motors. I only do maybe 10,000km a year, 3,000km with trailer. Am I better to look at a newer model with a 6.2 and 6 speed transmission?

If you're happy with the 5.4 you have now and you're just trying to move to a newer truck, then an 08-10 5.4 or 6.8 will be a fantastic upgrade. If you find a clean truck with miles you're fine with priced in your range in those years I wouldn't pass to hold out for a 6.2. I wouldn't rule a 6.2 OUT at all and you should look at all years pretty equally, just saying that if you're fine now, any gasser after 2005 will be a solid improvement over your 2V setup.
