I'm back to turning wrenches so my tools are at work. Rather than lugging my boxed back home, it'll be easier to just have YOUR recommended tools handy so I can just grab some.....and GO!
List? You want a list? All of 'em, that's how many you'll need, every stinking one and an extra box of curse words because they go fast on that job.
Seriously though, I didn't make a list and would be sure to forget some, the only one in particular that stands out is like 3' or more of 3/8" extension to get the bolts out and into the collector (baby's butt) on the driver's side. You will need to get them from below. Hammer, long drift pin, dremel drill w/cutoff wheels, I used an acetylene torch, all kinds of sockets and deep sockets.
There's a reason that the mechanic gives you stink eye and charges you a gawd-awful price to do your uppipes......It is possibly the crappiest job on these trucks...Bring all you're tools, it still won't be enough...
