Yeah I thought I had the right lower cup but, the ball joint had a much larger lip on it. So I was in effect pressing against itself. Some wacks with the BFH, heat, and PB the joint came out and I realized my folly.

The ford dealer told me I needed new rear brakes at around $400+. So yesterday I had my son take a look at the truck because I will be going out in Sept. He found I needed all 4 brakes and replaced them for $150 with Premium pads. Told me not to turn down the rotors but next time we will be replacing them. Rotated tires at same time. I hadn't done it in a while and they were making noise and felt something I couldn't describe. Now no noise and riding great. Good to have a diesel man as a son. really helped out.

So happy the way the truck is handling after the tire rotation and brakes.

I am always complaining about the internet at the campground. They have redone the entire system and it lighting fast, getting on with no delay is amazing.

On a lighter note, I washed up the Alumiduty, and put her in the garage in its place.

Oh man, I had kind of forgotten you had that truck, Brendon. It's so purdy. Sorry to see the Ferrari go.

I love it, especially because it's gas. I've had a couple issues, nothing major, which I attribute to it being a job 1 truck. Almost 17000 miles on it now, and has been to Kentucky, Maine, RI, NH, and everywhere in between. Has towed a 5 ton trailer pretty well, and very comfortable to drive.

What were your issues? Anything with the transmission?

That sounds good Brendon, and puts me closer to a decision. I do have to stick to the diesel for pulling the 5th wheel. With the wife looking at heavier 5th wheels in the future I don't think going cross country with a gasser would work.
I don't even know if I am going to be able to stick with the single rear wheel or have to go to the dually.

Still have research on both the truck, trailer, and cost $$$.
