cleaning intake manifold

Can anyone give some advise about cleaning my intake manifold before I install it on my new motor. Also does it make any sense to paint all aluminum parts iam adding to my new motor from old motor. ED

cleaning intake manifold

Use Berrymans spray,or CRC spray cleaner.Spray it down good,let it soak and use air to dry and blow out the excess carbon.
