Theft light flashes when accelerating or increasing load
I have a 2002 F150 with the 4.2L. Recently when driving it and accelerating or going up a hill the the “Theft” light with blink or flash quickly and the engine will hesitate. I’ve already changed the PCM relay and checked fuses.
On my scan tool now codes come up. I’ve seeches for this problem but it seams now one ever posted a fix.
The Truck has 57000 miles on it and I drive it about 3-4 thousand miles per year.
Im at a lost and really don’t want to have to take it to a dealer and throw money at it.

Had a vacuum leak here where hose clamp is now at The hose with the white Speck had to replace with rubber hose old one was corroded and collapsed truck runs perfectly now hope this helps and others issues I don't normally take time to post this but it seem like a very simple fix that may work for many
