Iac questions
Ok I have a few questions. I've been having a idling loss of power issue in my truck. Decided to do a few tips to see if that helped, only got as far as the iac. Took it off to clean it with intake cleaner and now truck won't start unless starting fluid is used and then it's just like before. Before it would idle just kinda erratic from minute to minute. One minute itll sound like nothing's wrong and next it'll literally struggle to idle to the point the engine shakes the truck. Before I removed the truck would start with no issues and after I removed it and cleaned it it'll just crank to no end unless starter fluid is used to jump it. So my main question is the adjuster screw in the side should move that internal gear right cause I have it off truck ATM and it just turns both ways and does nothing. 96 f150 OBD2 4.9l mazda 5 speed

Yeah... that screw on the side of the throttle body is not an idle speed screw it's a throttle plate stop screw that is just meant to prevent the blades becoming jambed in the bores. So do your best to put everything back the way it was and move on.. this isn't where your problem is.
I suggest you check fuel pressure and if you haven't done so already pull codes and post up the results for those things.
