Question Front Cab Mounts

I ordered front cab mounts from LMC trucks thinking I might get the exact ones that are on my truck. I received ones, like the ones Mid Fifty sells and explained in their catalog. New ones have less flare than my original. Does anyone know if the more flared mounts are available or is it ok to use the ones that fit on a 56'?

New left. Old right.

I would think the smaller (new) one would work. I'll have to check which doughnuts I have to install. Bought mine from MidFifty.

Found the answer to my own question. Thought I would share just in case anyone else ever comes across this issue. following is a picture from a Hot Rod website discussing installation of 56' cab mounts. The steel plates locate the biscuits on the frame. Here’s a comparison between the old and new rubbers. The former had become compressed with age.
