Suspension part needed - discontinued
Hey all!!
I'm sure this is here somewhere, but I have a 93 XL shorty with only 72K and the rear suspension bushing (part # F09Z5K789B - I think this is the same too - F09Z5K679A - or are these 2 different parts?). Any idea where to get these? I have searched with no avail.. and I'd love to keep the youngest of my Aerostar fleet running!

You'll find some enlightenment on my thread Aerostar rear bushing overhaul, about 10 pics in on post #1.
You will not likely find a factory NOS, and I did not have time and resources to ID a sub as I was moving to complete the project.
I did replace the thrust washer using a polymide/nylon sheet.

If you're looking for the bushing in this picture, that's the correct part number but I'm pretty sure you won't find it.
This is my post from that other thread.
I may have bought the last one of those bushings back in 2011 and it wasn’t cheap. 90 bucks plus shipping.
My Ford parts man sourced it from a dealer in Texas.
If you’re interested, the part number on the invoice is F09Z5K789B and it was the complete assembly.
