So, I have this beautiful Ruby Red Platty that I had the windshield and front windows tinted for look, heat reduction and apparently for the birds! The damn things keep perching on my mirrors and window seals and crapping! I've tried turning the mirrors in and all that seems to do is give them a better place to crap! I'm about to start shooting birds!!!

I have the same problem every spring for around 6 weeks. The birds nest in trees in my back yard. I got rid of their convenient perches by folding my mirrors every time I parked in the driveway and the incidence of bird crap on my front doors decreased.

I e tried that too! I thinks it's little tiny birds, like finches or something. I got a little target practice on an armadillo last night, a little more practice and I'll pick the dang birds off one at a time!
Be careful how you eradicate them. Sometimes the cure's worse than the disease. Back in the day my neighbor's cat liked to use the hood of my truck as a r&r station. I snuck up on him with the hose and blasted him, not thinking what the consequences would be. Cat shocked by water blast, sharp claws, slick surface (my hood)... Yep. Permanent reminder of how to not get a cat off your hood.
This will keep the birds away for sure, we use them all over the farm to keep the bird off equipment.
This is also what I would recommend. Every year in late February, early March about 100,000 Starlings roost in the tree over my house and crap all over everything. No more with the artificial owl. I should have done that 20 years ago.

Since you probably bleed orange and blue like me the wildlife around you is just following your lead and crapping on the visiting bama fans red truck.......
