how much fuel preasure should a 97 f250 5.4 have

38-42 psi with the engine running.

No but he did say it was a 1997 F-250 with a 5.4L which apparently does really exist.

The unicorn by legend is a mythological creature with no proof of existence. The 1997 Ford F-250 with a 5.4L motor is real, as verified by the link to one I posted above, regardless of personal opinion as to whether it is a "real" truck or not.

Sure. The correct numbers from the 97 F150 WSM are KOEO 35-45 psi, KOER 28-45 psi.
