Georgia - ordered new
My first pickup I ordered from City Motors in Cartersville, GA. I took delivery May 24, 1968. 1968 Ford Ranger F100, 390 v-8 engine, 255 hp and Selectshift Cruise-o-matic (c6) transmission. Short bed (115" wheelbase) styleside with twin-I-beams and 1,250 lb flex-o-matic rear suspension. Deluxe radio was AM with push buttons. Standard cab with Ragoon Red paint, bright red interior, white headliner and sun visors. My Dad saw it and said "Son take care of it and it'll last you a long time." It's going on 50 years.
