1997 Transfer case shift motor
Is there a good place besides the dealer to get a transfer case shift motor.
1997 4.6 electric transfer case motor numbers on sticker are
44-06-640-002. just above thatin smaller type is the number 950725

try yahoo & ebay
I need one to I have found them on ebay for around $200.00 for
new oem motor and yahoo store has them for 179.00 + shipping with a 1 year warranty hope this helps I know the dealers want between $310 & $360

First try having someone shift it while you tap it with a hammer. Sometimes it gets stuck and this is all that you need to get it going. Then try going to the site www.ford-trucks.com and under transfer cases there is a heading called shift motor. It tells you how to clean the motor to make it work again. Granted this is a ranger motor but it's probably not that different.
