92 5.8L Specs

I drive a '92 F150 2wd with a 5.8L V8. I have looked just about everywhere trying to find the specs on this engine. Including, hp, tourqe, compression, you name it. I have not been able to find anything. If there is anyone that might be of some help it would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks in advance,

chris

Thanks alot paul. Just courious how did you know? Or do you know anywhere that has good resources for this engine model?
Also You or someone else might be able to answer my other question: I am trying to figure out what type of motor is in it. I know there was a 351 windsor made during that time, but i am not sure if that is it. When i decode the vin it comes up 351 CID...anyone know what that means?

any help would be appriciated.

thanks again

chris

Paul: My 1992 Ford truck brochure doesn't state specs, but the commercial guide does. It says 200hp/315ft/lbs of torque for F-150s.

You have the Windsor. The last year for the modified was 1982, and the Cleveland was never production in pickups.

CID stands for Cubic Inch Diameter, or how large the displacement is.

3.1416*2*2*3.5*=351.8592

Which actually makes it a 352CID. But since there was already a 352 in the FE era, ford decided to make it a 351, or so I've hear.

Take the CID and multiply it by 60.69 to get a rough estimate of the Liters=5.78

The equation for measuring CID is 3.11416*(bore/2)*(bore/2)*stroke*# of cylinders.
