can I get a VIN decode?
The online decoder I use gave this back:
Model Year: 79
Series: F100 - 4x2 Pickup

I sure hope that model year you gave was a typo, the picture of the truck I bought on Ebay shows a 69, not a 79 (looking at the sequential number in the table show a 69 as well - whew!)

Wow that is really cool!! so F25HRK02527 is a F250 with a 390 2V, built in San Jose, CA in 1971 and probably in the spring. Is there anyway to find out exactly when it rolled off the line?
Hmm, I never thought it was a California truck. Now I know.
