The ABS (SBC) pump seems to be fine, I hear it running and no dash warnings. (thanks for making me read up about the issues) I know the car was purchased used by the second owners in 2007 from a Ford dealer. Prior to that a doctor owned it who had to let it go because of a divorce. Other than that I know no other history.

This car is so full of electronics it isn't even funny. My Ex is easy compared to this. This is a learning experience (I like challenges). The Battery system is different with a primary and aux battery. The car does not like to have a battery replaced, electronics have to be reset. There is no oil dipstick, all electronic to get the reading.

I am putting tags and insurance on it on Monday. I need to replace a broken glass, replace the hood ornament, change the oil, clean and wax it if I get the battery light straightened out. I have a new auxiliary battery to install tonight. I know the alternator is outputting so crossing my fingers this fixes it.

When I get electronic drunk I move over and work on the Chevelle. Ahhh... simplicity.

Probably would help to learn at least a few choice German words. Have fun with the project.

That looks very beefy Snowman, how thick of material are you going to be able to roll with it?

I am shooting for 1/4x24". I started building it for rolling fire pit rings. As slow as it is going I hope to have it done for spring time orders.

Nice work with the plasma table Andy, those rings are cool! And that roller in progress looks stout enough for the job!

An update on the Mercedes, it is up and running, tagged and titled. I have cleaned and detailed it up, serviced it (6.0L oil changes are easy compared to this thing), tires balanced, electrical error for dual batteries fixed, new voltage regulator, and other small items taken care of.
The car has induced Mercedes envy with my parents to the point where they want to trade cars, their older Benz for ours (not happening). I will post picks later. It is a good driving car, just needed TLC.
