There is no delay at all on my iPad when I touch that top black drop down menu, bam! Right to it and its sometimes very persistent and doesn't want to go away. I try to be very deliberate when checking my User CP.
I do believe some ipad stuff is being ironed out. One of my fellow Supers was alerting the IB rep to stuff that was happening while using his ipad.
Is everyone else seeing very tiny font here in the now wider reply window? Like phone book small font?
Yes, That's one of the bugs they are working out....worked out.
I have also found (from the iPad again) that when I go into one of my prior posts to edit that the original post doesn't show, kind of hard to do any editing when you don't have the original there to work with.......
I noticed this AM, with the latest bug fix, that there's a delay in waiting for the reply page to load (already reported to IB) and that it's especially long when quoting a reply. Maybe wait a little longer to see if it loads?
Look above Stewart, I hit the Edit button and waited a full 60 seconds, no change, still didn't show my original post (that now only lives on in your above quote). So I entered in some additional text to see how it would handle it, think maybe the new text would be added to the end of the original that wasn't showing, but as you can see, the original went bye bye and now only the new text shows. Give it a try and see how yours works from a PC, maybe it's my iPad with an old IOS.
I'd love to edit the above post to have it read correctly, but unfortunately...........I can't.
In the other thread we're conversing in, I posted from, and edited a post from my iPad without a problem. Jose is gonna have to dig deeper to figure out this problem for you.
Yeah, but there's a delay again, so it doesn't activate immediately when the cursor is placed over it. Aside from the other irritating changes, I thought this change would make you smile.
Stewart
Like mentioned there is no delay. It does all the same things, just a bit smaller.
Well, beater car gave me a beating yesterday. Crankshaft sensor spit the bit (best I can tell so far). Clifford did a fine job towing, even with my nagging stiction problem I'm having on #5.
I will say that loading on the side of the highway is no fun at all. Tow truck drivers earn the heck out of their money!
My plow truck blew the water pump last night, I had to leave on a red eye flight so I got a ride and left it in the driveway it puked all the coolant out in. I'm now sitting in the Seattle airport during a layover, just made all the calls to get it towed and repaired. It's supposed to snow all week when I'm gone and my dad was going to plow for me...can't do that with no plow truck. Always happens at the worst times!
