98 Expedition - Troublecode OBDII
I am happy to say this is my first post, which is a good thing, but I am also in need of some help here. A few weeks ago my "Check engine" light came on so I read on this forum about resetting the comp by disconnecting and re-connecting the battery. That worked for a few weeks and it resurfaced. I went down to Autozone and had the guys there check it out and the code they came back with was: P1714 SSA Inductive Signature Malfunction. He had no clue what that meant so I called a few mechanics that I have dealt with and they knew nothing either. Has anybody here had this code before, and how much is it going to cost me? Other than an annoying orange light on my dash the truck is running fine.
