I sure get the itch for a new one. Mine is not a daily driver and at 80k miles and no rust still has lots of life left.
I have added a nice nav head unit with back up camera and other upgrades. That does help the years go by. But there is no arguing that the newer trucks are much nicer than the older ones. I have been lucky though. Twelve years and no issues whatsoever. Part of me is worried a new one might not be as trouble free.
I am 54 (today) and my next truck may be my last one if it's as good as my previous 3.
Waiting now to see how Godzilla turns out.

If I recall properly, you are in the sweet spot for V10s. Earlier 2V had a lack of spark plug threads and a habit of loosing a plug now and then. Right around '03 they "fixed" the 2V heads giving them more threads for the plugs. Then came the 3V, which is why I went with a 6.2. I still have regular contact with the folks that bought my '03 E350. That 2V V10 is north of 220K and running strong. You have a winner. KEEP IT.

So you drove 18,000 miles in 4-years (4,500 miles/year). At that rate you'll be at 200k in about 16-years. I think you're good for a while!
