You guys need a better dealer.... It's stackable for sure. My brochure rebate (private offer) said it expired on 7/5. Fine print said must be used by 6/30. I signed my paperwork on 7/4 because that day worked for both of us. Fine print also said if it's between these dates call Ford. We did the paperwork less the $750 private offer and dealer made some phone calls on 7/5. I'm getting a check in the mail for the $750 so we don't redo the paperwork which was fine to me.
I just got $1750, $1000 customer appreciation and $750 military appreciation. This is for the rebates that ended on the 5th. Signed the paperwork last night, and picking up my 2017 King Ranch, black, caribou no chrome this morning. This dually is beautiful. Swapping in my 2017 Platinum which I did not like.
Ford is showing $3000 cash rebate in my area for XL and XLT's. Offer good till 10-3-17.
Whats your zip so that we can cross reference to see if the site is just down? Mine is 30028, but it's showing just the 750$ although at dealer around here people are saying getting a 1500$ rebate
I'm not sure how the rebates work. If I order a truck tomorrow, but don't take delivery for 8 weeks, do I get the rebates in place when I ordered the truck, or the rebates in place when I take delivery. If the rebates in place when I order expire before I take delivery, do I still get them, or SOL? if I read the Ford Build website correctly, I can get $4250 in rebates, is that a normal amount? What is the coupon that comes with the brochure that some have mentioned on this thread? And finally, do the dealers normally come off any from the MSRP minus the discounts? Never ordered a vehicle before so don't have any experience. But I know I won't be able to find what I'm looking for at a dealer. Sorry for so many questions.

Not sure it works for every state and every dealer but when I ordered my truck, they said as long as I had credit approval, at time of the order, the rebates in place at the time of the order would be locked-in. IF the rebates increased during the production time, then I would get those as well.

Search this forum for "rebates" and then "brochure" and you may finish reading everything this time tomorrow.
MSRP
Dealer discount from MSRP is strictly up to the dealer. If they don't discount some I would find another dealer. As a general rule you should be able to get about 10% of front the dealer. I was quoted a few days ago about 5% off which is not nearly enough to get me motivated to sign.
Rebates
These are offered by Ford. Any dealer should be happy to allow you all the rebates Ford has available. $4250 is great as most seem to be more in the $2000-$3000 range presently. As mentioned on numerous threads here, you normally will have the option to use the rebates available at time of order. If rebates increase at delivery, you can take those. (The post above about being credit approved at time order in order to have the option for those rebates...... That's the first time I've heard/read that. Sounds to me like the dealer just wanted to verify credit before he wasted time ordering. Not sure.)
Brochure
Go to ford website, scroll to bottom and look under "Shopping Tools" ....... Click on brochure. Order one and it may include a coupon. May not. May be for $750 if there is one. Maybe more, maybe less. It's a surprise. Don't order until your order is being built. Takes 1-2 weeks to receive and some coupons have short term expiration so don't order to early. If you order a brochure and no coupon ..... Order another on a different vehicle. The brochure coupon from any brochure can be applied to any Ford vehicle.
Start
Go to Ford Web site build and price tool. Build it, print it, bring to dealer and get a quote. Cry, act poor, whatever. If the price isn't where you want..... Walk and try to find a dealer that will work with you. You may or may not (dealer choice) be required to put a deposit on order. Some do, some don't, and the most I've read about here is $2000. I think $500 or $1000 is more common. Your decision on how you want to deal with deposit.
Finally, there are no rules. You have the check book and you have the ability to have some control on this process. Be straight with them and they "should" be straight with you.
Good luck!! BTW..... I don't have a clue what I'm talking about. Yes I've ordered before. But....... I will be putting my build and price out next week and ordering about July 25-30. So I will learn a lot more myself in the coming weeks.
I ordered today in NJ, and was told $1,500.00 on a Lariat F250 Gasser
That is what I got for my Lariat as well. Seems higher trim levels don't get as large of a rebate but mine at time of order was 1000, so got another 500 at purchase.
3300 off MSRP, 6500 for 2004 f150 fx4, and 1500 rebate. So 11,300 off. Not to bad in my opinion.
I've never been much of a gambler.... my brain sorta freezes up when it comes to warrant-less speculation! For starters... trim levels matter. But one the "cheaper" trucks generally 3-5k is the high spot until you get into the true leftover status. Ford has been pushing more of a regional rebate program so it could easily be different around the country. These rebates are based on where you register the truck, not where you buy it.
