[updated:LAST EDITED ON 19-Nov-01 AT 03:45 PM (EST)]My 95 f-150 4x4 5.0L seems to be overheating today. When i am at a stop light and just idling, the temperature goes all the way to H, but there is only cold air blowing from the vents, when I rev the engine in neutral or drive it up to speed, the air will get really hot and the temperature will go back to normal. What is the problem? Thermostat? water pump? Need feedback ASAP thanks.

Sounds like the Thermostat for sure stuck closed. Squeeze the upper hose and the lower hose and see if they'res water in both. Most likely the upper hose will have water but not the lower.
