So I'm away from home on vacation also away from my tools 😕. Anyways my front drivers side line busted almost causing me to crash earlier today in my 2006 F250 6.0 diesel 4x4. So basically my question is: what tools are needed to do this job? If anyone can be exact so I can pick them up without spending a crazy amount of money. I've already picked up the part now tomorrow morning I willl be changing the part
I just did this on my 2003, so it's not the same year, but I wanted to offer help. The flare wrench I used was 9mm x 11mm, but I don't remember which end. The caliper bleeder was 10mm and the wrench to hold the hose was 17mm I think, but an adjustable would work if it's not too corroded.

Yes thank you man. It was a 10 mm but everything else could be done with a crescent wrench. I found a socket set on sale this morning at Wal-Mart for $10 so that will be staying in the truck from now on!
