Is it just me or does anyone else smile when they see another 17 SD on the road with them. I make it a point to throw the nod of approval and a peace sign their direction. 9 out of 10 times they will be looking at you too.
I absolutely just did that for the first time yesterday. Having only had my truck for 3 days it was the first time I saw another super duty while driving mine. White CCLB pulling on to Riverdale road Friday around 7pm (incase your on this forum). I pointed....and Im sure they didn't see me lol
Yes indeed I actually stopped and talked with a guy at a gas station while he was filling up and I was coming out for the store. He said he loved it and I couldn't agree more.
These trucks really do get a lot of looks from guys in other trucks. I've had everything from guys sticking their arms out the window with a thumbs up, to long stares, to the guy that stares out of the corner of his eye like he didn't notice the truck. Those guys always make me laugh.
Anytime I pass another 2017, it's always a mutual wave and nod.
Yeah it's fun for now until there are a million on the road and it becomes just another Super Duty
And that'll happen real quick... 2-3 years and it's the old version . The '99-'16s while similar looking to the average person look very different to a truck guy.
I've had tons of compliments on my truck .. I may be biased but I believe the 2017 super dutys are the best looking super duty ford has built .. I get the long looks, the thumbs up and compliments I have never received before .. the truck just draws attention
