I have a hornet nest in my front gable end, them nasty little black jackets, I'll have to wait until winter to get up there to clear out the nest, might have to check my attic too..

I have knocked them off into a plastic bag at nite before. Kind of gets your heart going. Especially walking with a bag full of angry insects after.

That's the worst kind. They often run up the wall from where their entrance is. We had them under the clap boards of our bedroom wall once. I stood next to where they were flying in and as they landed before they disapeared, I was swatting them with a rolled up magazine. Killed about 150 of the little varmits.
