Hey guys, I've researched countless forums and videos on changing the spark plugs in my 5.4 3v. I'm kinda intimidated. I've been running 93 octane gas and seafoam mix for the past 2 weeks. I've got 212k miles on my truck and I'm unaware if the plugs have ever been changed. Any adviceand tips would be appreciated

 

At 212K I doubt the engine would be running on the original spark plugs. They were most likely changed back around 100K miles, give or take. That being said, there's a good chance you don't have the 2-piece plugs in there anymore. You could pull out the easiest one to get at and inspect it. This way you'll know what you're in for and can get the extraction tool ahead of time if need be.
