Y pipe obsolete?

Y pipe obsolete?
HI I'm new here. The guy across the street has a '75 F 250 Pickup with 360 engine that he purchased new. His Y pipe is rusted through and it's close to inspection time. It seems that this piece is no longer available. What do you guys do? He can't be the only one. TIA Paul

Y pipe obsolete?
I had to replace my Y-pipe a couple of months ago, and the local muffler shop ordered one from a place in New Jersey. It was a new one, and took about 10 days to arrive.
The other option is to have one made, which is a little more expensive. (My Y-pipe cost about $80)......
