6.0 Theft system
My 6.0 will not start with the key and I found it was the solenoid. Used the wire going to starter and connected to the positive connection. Then, it started and stopped by itself 10 minutes later. I was thinking it was theft system i have heard that is on the 6.0s. Maybe the fuel shutoff buttom is broken? Wont go down or up seems stuck. Someone please help its appreciated.

Ok thanks for letting me know. I heard that but apparently it was wrong.

....the truck STARTED by itself? You put the key in, turned to run, jumped the wire to the battery, truck starts... then dies on it's own after 10 mins w/o the key?
The RPMs don't change with pedal input?

The key was in the whole time. Started up and ran a bit rough but that's most likely because it hasn't ran in a year. Then it shut off itself with key still on. Just like a sudden stop and silence.
