3.5 Ecoboost gen 1 versus Gen 2

I still can't see where anybody there that has real problems with the Ecoboost and Ford can't fix it.

93Cobra is most likely known as Sasquatch on the Raptor forum. They love him there too.

It's as I thought after reading some posts. Most of those guys are dropping big bucks to mod those trucks when they're brand new. Replacement intercoolers, exhausts, tunes+Forscan, etc.

i really shouldn't make this post, However,
I agree. I don't see what he posts now except when someone "quotes" him. However. I never saw a comment on the 2 other forums where he owned any of said vehicles, but he sure passes out info.

It's a bunch of bovine excrement on what you are spewing. When Ford redesigned the F150 for the Aluminum body, they also addressed the intercooler issue. On top of that the 2nd gen EcoBoost engines have fixed every issue the first generation had. Port injection to help with any coking of valves. Timing chain and cam phaser redesign, etc. Sure new problems could still arise with the redesign. But to say these have the old flaws is a bunch of crap. Even people on the Raptor forum are calling you out on the bs.

Nope - ford TRIED to address it AGAIN and failed AGAIN. The misfire still exists because ford can't figure out how to get the intercooler either to not make condensate, or how to safely get rid of it to atmosphere. The 3.5 ecoboost is a complete joke because of its inherent design flaws. Prove me wrong and show me that there are no issues. Look at the 2017 Raptor... owners are finding the engine to be a dud. They have condensate misfires, and rattling cam phasers already. Look for yourself.
