With the amounts you need you better collect all winter..it takes 13 inches of snow to equal 1 inch of rain..

We got 16'' of snow Nov 8, 2020 then very little the rest of the winter.

We seldom get enough, it's been way too dry here in the last 4-5 yrs.

We've had several years where the 4 foot fence disappears...
