3 months from order to build date...new record?

12 weeks exactly, from order to delivery for me. Got my truck 2 days ago. If you know up front it's going to take that long, I don't see it as an issue. It was only a problem for me because of travel commitments. It all worked out in the end and I can assure you, it's worth the wait for exactly "your truck".

My truck was ordered March 21st, Built May 4th,Left Kentucky May 11th,Arrived out west to Kent, Washington on the 16th of June. Now waiting for delivery truck to load and deliver to dealer an hour away? This is the part that i get inpatient! Dealer told me they have 5 trucks they are waiting for including mine. My ETA has changed 3 times, and soon to be 4..

I feel the same way.
My dealer told me build date was 26th of June. He hasn't got into contact with me. Let me know anything nor have I even got a VIN.
now I looked up a truck that's actually what I want but has a few more options but looks to be the same price as the one I'm ordering. I have no deposit on ordered truck and am considering saying **** it and going to go get the one off the lot. However I don't know if this dealer will agree to the same trade im getting- and if so this dealer is located out of state but I live close to the state line.
What would you guys do?
are there penalties for buying across state line?

6 weeks exactly from order date to pickup date. Jan 26th to March 9th. I think it arrived at the dealership on the 7th. The dealer and I were both surprised.
With ordering, we got exactly what we wanted.......no more, no less. We are happy with the option choices we made, and would order the same truck and options all over again.

21 weeks have you beat
I'll never forget the 21 week wait for my 2015 F150 5.0 Screw. Order May 1st and received truck on Sept 21. It was the longest wait but at least I got the end of year incentives. Lets see how long my new F250 takes. Ordered May 15th and still in Production only 23 days left. We will see about that

My F350 Platinum order went in this past Wednesday. I'm a "Priority 10" in what sounds like a shutdown period. Sounds like it will be a while...

Just received VIN... about 6 weeks after ordering truck. Now they say build date is Aug. 8 and delivery is Aug.14.
From what I read here, 6 days for delivery is iffy at best, we'll see.
Thought about waiting until 2018 order date but also worry about job 1 for 2018. Also there might be a Job 3 for 2017? Tanks, leaks, inverter and other stuff. Year end type of incentive stuff could come into play on the 17's, I don't know.
Can anybody beat the 13 week record (about)?
