Exhaust Ball Flange HELP!

I didn't do it but if this truck was meant to have a CC along the exhaust system it doesn't have one...
Hopefully I don't have to pay someone 100$ or some bulls*** to cut 3" off and weld on a 4" that they've stuck in a pipe spreader... I could buy one new for that price or just buy the 2.5" flange adapters off of summit racing and use 2 pieces of 2.5" pipe and 2 trees close together and a torch and make a set of straight 2.5" dual pipes
