Need help

I recently bought a 2000 f350drw with 169k. About one month ago I was traveling from Alabama to Louisiana and out of no where with no warning my truck would loose power and bog down while doing 75-80 mph, so I could let off the gas for a couple seconds then press it again and it would sputter for a second then throw a huge cloud of white smoke then be good for about 10 miles and repeat. So I had the truck towed to Ford dealership and they told me the fuel system was shot. I was told the fuel looked like chocolate milk. So they replaced fuel filter, pump, cleaned lines and tank. Well it drove excellent for the next month after that driving back and forth to Louisiana and now it's broke down having the same symptoms while driving on the interstate, I pulled over oil was real low so I stopped put oil in truck and ran great for 50 miles to destination but now it says I have no oil pressure oil is low again and won't crank. Any ideas?

I probably wouldn't take the truck back to that dealership. Your engine oil is going into the fuel. The problem is injector o-ring seals. Any diesel mechanic that knows the 7.3 should have come to that conclusion as soon as they saw the fuel.

If you want to own and operate one of these older trucks and not get screwed at the mechanic's you'd be best served to fix it yourself. Most of the work that these engines need can be done by the owner and there is a lot of help and knowledge right here that will get you through most of it. It is nearly impossible (not completely) to find an honest mechanic who knows what he is doing with our trucks. You got your first taste at that dealer with a probable $1000 bill and still no fix. You may find it hard to believe but you can take off work, buy the tools to fix your truck and fix it for less than you will pay a mechanic 'til all is said and done.

Brandonr is probably right on your injector O rings being the culprit. About $80 in parts and a day under the hood should do the trick.
