Hi guys I just bought my dream Excursion! Flew out to NOLA from Augusta, GA last weekend to get it. Turned out to be a great deal. 215k miles on 7.3L Powerstroke, Limited package with heated seats, second row captain's chairs, great condition body and interior, 2wd, new michelin tires, exhaust, tune, wastegate actuator from Banks and an airaid cold air intake. Plus a Pioneer touch screen android auto head unit. I love it!
My question is what are you guys doing to protect your carpets? Mine are awesome for 150k miles much less 215k. Weathertech look nice but my dad has them in his 2015 GMC truck and the edges are already curling and look crappy. Husky I have heard good things about but they don't make liners, only mats for us. Though, they make nice liners for the 2015+ truck which from what I understand is still the same body as ours. Anyone try them?? Thoughts on other products?
My experience is Weathertech looks better, Husky is better for large liquid spills or large amounts of mud, whatever, being tracked in. So unless you are dealing with something really messy and disgusting like children either are fine and I would personally lean towards Weathertech for aesthetics.

+1 for "unless you are dealing with something really messy and disgusting like children" YUGE ROFL!(and true)
I was not aware weathertech still made liners for the second and 3rd rows of our excursions, let alone a "T" shaped liner for the models with 2nd row captins chairs.
Please enlighten me as I would like to have a couple sets.

I was able to get a set with the cargo area as well, but they don't show it in that link. Some reviews saying they didn't fit right, but mine were cut perfectly.
Weathertech in the front, Husky in the second and third row as well as the cargo area. Got all of the Husky liners from Amazon. They have held up well, the Weathertechs have deformed a little bit but still work well.
I have weathertech and put them to the test last week. One of my passengers put some dinner leftover in metal tins in the back of the excursion. He didn't lay them down, kept them stacked on top of each other. Top tin had muscles marinara in lots of sauce. We'll, I didn't know and when I got to my destination my weathertech cargo mat was full of liquid muscle tomato sauce with lots of garlic and strong odor.
The stupid cargo mat lip towards the front of the truck wasn't ridged enough to keep the liquid from leaking down into the back seat. My bissell spotclean pro just arrived today and I wet vac'd the carpet.
I've since folded the back lip over tight with some car batteries creating a nice crease then put a heat gun on the liner to mold the edge in the upright position.
Hope that makes sense but the lessen I learned is these are not that good for liquid spills without some modification.
