iterchange question

iterchange question
i have a 90 f-150 with a 5.0 which has thrown a rod. I also have a 1983 5.0 short block which brings me to my question. will my top half (heads, intake etc.) bolt to this block. and if anyone knows of any other problems that might arise during this swap. any info will be helpful and greatly appreciatd.
