Quality Chrome
Who is a good source for quality chrome. I have had my door ***** and hood side markers for about 2 years now and the chrome is already faded out. Pretty sorry considering how much they cost.
Thinking about investing in one of the chroming kits and tring it myself. Anyone had any luck with the kits?

Waste of money, leave it for the pro's.

Another alternative is to have small pieces powder coated with a chrome-like finish. I have been toying with the idea for awhile. I have seen door handles and emblems done in this fashion and they really do look like chrome, unlike chrome paint.
Rechroming potmetal properly is outright expensive and it will probably never hold up as long as you would like.
