Why did they even do the F250 LD? There is not hardly any differences right? So why put a F250 badge on the truck thats a F150? Just wondering.

 

At the same time there was a F250 LD there was also a F250 HD. This was still in the bodystyle that the F150 used until 1996. The 250LD continued until the introduction of the Super Duty. Once that happened it became the F150 7700.
